OG Kush Feminized – Silent Seeds

OG Kush Feminized by Silent Seeds has been a strain that has been in great demand in California for at least a decade. Popular in cannabis dispensaries and recording artists alike, OG Kush is a 75% indica cross of Lemon Thai and ChemDawg strains.

OG Kush boasts a good production in a rather short flowering time. It is an easy to grow, vigorous and hardy variety that is adaptable to a wide range of growing techniques.

OG Kush responds well to SoG, SCRoG, super-cropping, LST and lollipopping techniques, the latter involving pruning all lower growth to focus the plants energies where they will be most productive.

Nutrient requirements are only average, but plants grown outdoors will benefit from two or even three layers of mesh to support the high number of buds.

Indoors we recommend a three week vegetative growth period followed by an 8 – 9 week flowering phase with yields up to 550 gr/m2. Outdoors, plants can reach a height of 300cm. producing up to 1100 gr. each with crops in northern latitudes ready in early to mid-October.

The mature buds are a bright lime green colour, dense and golf ball shaped.

The dominant scents produced by OG Kush are lime and petrol and these are also reflected on the palate. The taste lingers on the tongue and is much more like it. THC levels are very high and have often been measured at 22-26% with very low CBD. The resulting high is fast acting, well balanced between cerebral and physical, it is upbeat, dreamlike and long lasting.
