“Purple Haze 23 A5” Feminized Cannabis Seeds – ACE Seeds
Purple Haze 23 A5 by Ace Seeds is a cross between a Purple Haze mother (#23) from the Oldtimer’s Haze line and an elite clone of Nevil from A5 Haze (NL #5 x Original Haze male A). This hybrid is similar to some of the best Colombian sativa strains from the 60s and 70s.
Purple Haze #23 A5 is a 90% sativa strain with good to very good resistance to a number of factors including heat, cold, molds and assorted plant pests. Indoor flowering is long, 13 – 16 weeks, but yields can be very good.
A short period of vegetative growth indoors is recommended to help tame the plants height and using the SCRoG technique will also be beneficial. A low to moderate feeding schedule will suffice and an eleven hour light period will help “cement” the bloom faster.
Outdoors, this strain grows up to a latitude of 40° and growing in a greenhouse can help stretch this limit even further. The plants are tall, slender and very flexible in strong winds with quite a long internodal length. The leaves are long and thin and the plants inherit the mother’s tendency to display purple colors towards maturity.
The aromas and flavors are floral, with berries, seasoned wood, spice and metallic notes alongside meatier properties with notes of hash and incense and a certain saltiness.
The THC content is on average around 13%, while the CBD is practically nil and the CBG is 0.46%. The effect is bold, cerebral, introspective and quite detached. It doesn’t get too heavy and eventually becomes more relaxed and calming.
